BXB secures planning permission for up to 165 Dwellings in Tintwistle, Derbyshire.

Contaminated land specialists BXB Ltd have secured planning permission for up to 165 homes in Tintwistle, Derbyshire after High Peak Borough Council voted unanimously in favour of the new residential development.

The scheme will see the regeneration of the derelict brownfield site situated along the River Etherow. Having been previously used as a textile mill, landfill site and contractors haulage yard, the site has laid vacant for over 10 years.

Gary Goodman, Director of BXB Ltd said “Given the challenges posted by the site, the Councils unanimous approval of our proposals is an excellent result and a testament to the thorough work carried out by our project team. Our scheme will revitalise the local area and deliver much needed family housing to local residents.
